The short story of Anis Izaah

Who is this Anis Izaah?

I'm currently in Anesthesiology and when they printed the attendance list, that was how they spelled my name. -_-

The thing is, this rotation is a very dengki one. On the first day the students are given different work stations for the week. Like me, I got Digestive's OR last week. In my case its mostly laparotomy surgeries that starts around 9pm and ends around 2pm. But our standard office hour is from 730am til 4pm. So eventhough my surgery starts at 9 I still have to show up at 730 and eventhough I'd be free already I'd still have to leave at 4pm. Dengki righttt?

How does it work?

Well every morning at 730 sharp we've to be in front of the ICU and the resident in charge will call out all the names in the attendance list. Same thing happens at 4pm. Isn't it like gila annoying?!

And if we're not there we're given special gifts; add on more oncalls for the week. Pffffttyyjsgsggdhdjebeghe.

So... Whenever the resident gets to my name;
"Anis Izaah!"
"....."
"Anis Izaahhhh!!"
"......."
"Mana Anis Izaah??"
"Saya sayaa!"


Of course my brain would need time to digest, my name is not Anis Izaah. -___-

So on Friday I sat next to the doctor and when he was about to call out Anis Izaah I immediately said "Saya!" he turned to me, with a wide grin, said "Iyaaa begini lah" and insists that I high 5 him. -__- Okay boss.
